Marci is a devoted and zealous psychotherapist who specializes in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a range of emotional and relational challenges. Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, stress management, communication difficulties, relationship struggles, family dynamics, life transitions, trauma and adjustment disorders.
Marci’s therapeutic approach is both client-centered and solution-focused. She believes in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to create personalized strategies that promote healing and growth. Her work is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Culturally Sensitive Therapy.
Known for her compassionate presence and thoughtful insight, Marci strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
With 26 years of experience as a high school English teacher on Long Island, Marci has dedicated her career to helping others thrive academically, emotionally, and creatively. She brings this same passion to her counseling work.
Outside the classroom and therapy space, Marci is an avid reader, professional artist and photographer, podcaster, and published author. Her multifaceted background enriches her therapeutic work and allows her to connect with clients from all walks of life in a meaningful and authentic way.
