Mandi is a highly skilled and compassionate psychotherapist with more than 10 years of
extensive experience working across the lifespan—from children to adults—facing a
broad range of mental health and behavioral challenges. Her clinical expertise includes
the treatment of substance use disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating
disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders, conduct and impulse control disorders, and
adjustment to life transitions. Over the course of her career, Mandi has worked with diverse
and underserved populations, including children in foster care, justice-involved youth
and adults, individuals in residential treatment settings, gang-affiliated adolescents, and students
with special educational needs. Her deep understanding of complex trauma and
systems involvement allows her to provide highly individualized and trauma-informed
care.
Mandi also holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of
Criminal Justice and is SIFI-certified, having supervised numerous graduate-level social
work interns. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University
and is well-versed in conducting forensic evaluations and preparing legal reports.
A strong advocate for integrative approaches to wellness, Mandi holds a specialty in
integrative medicine for mental health and is particularly passionate about the healing
power of the human-animal bond. She has combined her love of horses with her clinical
work by facilitating equine-assisted learning groups and psychotherapy sessions for
children and adults dealing with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues.
